Great option for a fleeting trip

Spacious room, comfortable mattress, the complimentary breakfast had lots of variety, and it was nice to have free parking available right onsite for convenience.

The location of the hotel stands out. Close to Fisherman's Wharf and Cannery Row. a great spot for exploring Monterey. The room was spacious and clean. I loved having a sliding door leading to a balcony with a nice view. The beds were comfortable and provided restful sleep. The breakfast exceeded my expectations. enjoyed the pancake machine and fresh fruits. The staff were friendly but breakfast staff could be more welcoming. The lack of air conditioning posed a challenge during the warmer days. only a fan kept the room cool enough. Also, I noticed some noise from the street during the night. Parking was convenient, and the outdoor seating area for breakfast was a nice touch. A few minor maintenance issues in the bathroom should be addressed, like rust on the sprinklers. Overall, I would consider returning, but I hope the breakfast experience improves.

my family and I had a fantastic stay at best western. our king room with two king beds was spacious, and the comfortable beds made our nights restful. the location is very close to park lane and all other places we wanted to visit. the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially during check-in.

convenient walks to aquarium and coastal trail

staying at this inn was a fantastic experience as we could easily walk almost 2 km to the famous Monterey Bay Aquarium and enjoy the 18-mile Monterey Coastal Trail right nearby, making our city explorations truly enjoyable.

I found the Best Western Plus Monterey Inn to be very welcoming with its clean, modern decor and easy access to local attractions. The staff were exceptionally friendly, which made my stay enjoyable and stress-free as a senior traveler.

A bit more variety in breakfast options would help.

We really enjoyed our stay! The pool and hot tub were perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. A small downside was that it would have been nice to have a gym available, but we found plenty of great nearby places to explore.

Awesome stay with great views!

Had an unexpected blast! The lobby is stunning, and we loved our room with a fireplace & patio! Breakfast was yummy—gotta love those milk options, especially the oat milk! Staff was super helpful, even with our fork request. Only thing was the room was kinda hot at times without AC.
